Turing School Application

Welcome to Turing! Thank you for applying to be a student with us, and congratulations on taking the first step towards becoming a software developer!

Please note, we do not hire software developers through this application. If you are applying for a position as an instructor, please visit turing.edu/careers.

1. Be at least 18 years of age when classes begin.
2. Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent when classes begin.
3. Be no more than +/- two time zones away from US Mountain Time (MST/MDT) in order to participate in our classes via Zoom, which are held every weekday from 9 am to 4 pm MST/MDT.

Some tips for applying to our program:

Expect to spend about an hour on the application. If you don't have an hour right now, it's okay to do part of it and then come back later.

First, you will need to log in with your email. You will then complete three sections:

• Basic Info - Your name, email, phone number, etc. The basics.
• More About You - We want to understand what you've done in your past. There are no must-have items here. We've had students come to Turing straight out of high school, others with college degrees and some with decades of work experience. Please answer the questions honestly and tell us your story!
• Logic Quiz - This portion consists of eight questions that will help give us an idea of how you approach problems. How long you take on the quiz isn't nearly as important as getting the right answer. My recommendation is to slow down to carefully get through those questions.
